Opportunity Project member featured in exhibit at the Montclair Art Museum

JT signWe are proud to announce that one of our long time members is featuring his works of nontraditional Chinese brush painting in the Montclair Art Museum arcade galleries from September 29 – November 2nd, 2014.

Jason, who has a brain injury, has been at the Montclair Art Museum through the Opportunity Project Vocational program for the past 11 years, both as an Artist in Residence as well as helping to curate exhibits. The Arlene Rubinstein Scholarship Fund funded the cost of framing his artwork, as well as a water color painting class at MAM to expand his skillset, materials for the class and business cards to promote his work. Arlene Rubinstein (formerly Arlene Lieberman), who sadly passed away in March of this year, founded the Vocational Program at OP and worked with Gary Schneider of MAM to create the partnership between OP and MAM.
